A concept for a themed ride, inspired by classic dark rides like the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Indiana Jones Adventure : temple of the forbidden eye.
The ride puts guests inside an old Scottish Castle that once belonged to a vicious pirate called Captain StormBound.
During his years of pillaging, Stormbound came across a small Aztec statue, and brought it back to his castle in Scotland.
But the figurine was cursed, and now Captain Stormbound is doomed to haunt the hollow halls and corridors of the castle.
The guest would start their journey by entering the land surrounding the castle.
After passing through the queue-line, aswell as a guided-tour gone awry, through the castle, the guest would embark aboard vehicules owned by Paranormal Tours.inc
The Castle is host to a variety of ghosts and dark creatures, attracted to the castle by its dark energies.
As the vehicule makes its escape, the floor would eventually collapse, sending the car and its passengers plummeting into the flooded catacombs for a final showdown with the ghost of Captain Stormbound.
At this point, the ride goes from a tracked motion vehicule ride to a flume-style aquatic voyage into the bowels of the castle.
The guests would escape in-extremis the clutch of the Captain, and the tour vehicule would drive them out of the castle to safety.
